We, The Women's Entrepreneurial Network, respect your privacy and want you to understand how we collect, use, and share data about you. By giving us your email or any personal information, with or without purchase, you agree to all the terms of the Privacy and Data Policy and Terms of Use on this page. You shouldn’t use this site or purchase any of our products if you don’t agree with this Privacy and Data Policy, the Terms of Use, or any other agreement that governs your use of our sites, services, courses or programmes. 


The Women’s Entrepreneurial Network is the data controller and we are responsible for your personal data (referred to as “we”, “us” or “our” in this privacy notice). 

We, The Women’s Entrepreneurial Network, collect your information and can be contacted anytime at hello@thewomensentrepreneurialnetwork.com. You can submit any complaints with us via that same email, or request to be removed from our email lists, phone lists, or advertising targeting, too. 


We are committed to protecting your privacy and security and have explained in detail the steps we take to do so. We control the Sites from offices in the United Kingdom. We do not represent that materials on the Sites are appropriate or available for use in other locations. Persons who choose to access these Sites from other locations do so on their own initiative, and are responsible for compliance with local laws, if and to the extent that local laws are applicable.

Our site, our services, our written materials and our products are not intended for use by users under the age of 18 (eighteen). In event of such cases arising the Women’s Entrepreneurial Network retain the right to refuse the purchase of any product, service and subscription request.

PRIVACY AND DATA POLICY 

In running and maintaining our website we may collect and process the following data about you: 

Communication Data that includes any communication that you send to us whether that be through the contact form on our website, through email, text, social media messaging, social media posting or any other communication that you send us. We process this data for the purposes of communicating with you, for record-keeping and for the establishment, pursuance or defence of legal claims. Our lawful ground for this processing is our legitimate interests which in this case are to reply to communications sent to us, to keep records and to establish, pursue or defend legal claims. 

Customer Data that includes data relating to any purchases of goods and/or services such as your name, title, billing address, delivery address email address, phone number, contact details, purchase details and your card details. We process this data to supply the goods and/or services you have purchased and to keep records of such transactions. Our lawful ground for this processing is the performance of a contract between you and us and/or taking steps at your request to enter into such a contract. 

User Data that includes data about how you use our website and any online services together with any data that you post for publication on our website or through other online services. We process this data to operate our website and ensure relevant content is provided to you, to ensure the security of our website, to maintain back-ups of our website and/or databases and to enable publication and administration of our website, other online services and business. Our lawful ground for this processing is our legitimate interests which in this case are to enable us to properly administer our website and our business. 

Technical Data that includes data about your use of our website and online services such as your IP address, your login data, details about your browser, length of visit to pages on our website, page views and navigation paths, details about the number of times you use our website, time zone settings and other technology on the devices you use to access our website. The source of this data is from our analytics tracking system. We process this data to analyse your use of our website and other online services, to administer and protect our business and website, to deliver relevant website content and advertisements to you and to understand the effectiveness of our advertising.  Our lawful ground for this processing is our legitimate interests which in this case are to enable us to properly administer our website and our business and to grow our business and to decide our marketing strategy. 

Marketing Data which includes data about your preferences in receiving marketing from us and our third parties and your communication preferences. We process this data to enable you to partake in our promotions such as competitions, prize draws and free giveaways, to deliver relevant website content and advertisements to you and measure or understand the effectiveness of this advertising.  Our lawful ground for this processing is our legitimate interests which in this case are to study how customers use our products/services, to develop them, to grow our business and to decide our marketing strategy. 

We may use Customer Data, User Data, Technical Data and Marketing Data to deliver relevant website content and advertisements to you (including Facebook adverts or other display advertisements) and to measure or understand the effectiveness of the advertising we serve you. Our lawful ground for this processing is legitimate interests which is to grow our business. We may also use such data to send other marketing communications to you. Our lawful ground for this processing is either consent or legitimate interests (namely to grow our business). 

We use Facebook “pixels” on our Site so that we can understand your digital behaviour and potentially later target you with related advertising. We also use Google Analytics to understand how long you might spend on our Sites or how you interact with our Sites. 

If you ever choose to opt-out of targeted advertising with us, then please contact us at hello@thewomensentrepreneurialnetwork.com so that we can remove your email from any advertising we may use. 

You can unsubscribe from any of our emails at any time via the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email you received from us. 

As most of our services, programmes and courses are for ongoing educational purposes in the field of personal and professional development, you should assume we will continue to contact you in perpetuity via email or via social media in order to deliver our services, serve you related content, make recommendations, learn about your preferences, grant you products, deliver programmes to you with or from other platforms or companies, advertise to you or look alike audiences, send you surveys, and other fulfilment or marketing purposes. 

By using our Sites and submitting any information with us, you agree to these terms without exception and agree to waive liability and not hold us liable for any use of your information, in perpetuity, under any circumstances, including waiving your right to participate or initiate any class action complaints. 

We may process your personal data without your knowledge or consent where this is required or permitted by law. 

MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS 

Our lawful ground of processing your personal data to send you marketing communications is either your consent or our legitimate interests (namely to grow our business). 

Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, we may send you marketing communications from us if (i) you made a purchase or asked for information from us about our goods or services or (ii) you agreed to receive marketing communications and in each case you have not opted out of receiving such communications since. Under these regulations, if you are a limited company, we may send you marketing emails without your consent. However, you can still opt-out of receiving marketing emails from us at any time. 

You can ask us to stop sending you marketing messages at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link and the bottom of our emails. 

If you opt-out of receiving marketing communications this opt-out does not apply to personal data provided as a result of other transactions, such as purchases, warranty registrations etc. 

EVENTS, INFORMATION AND SPEAKER CHANGES 

The events, information, and speakers listed on our Sites are subject to change without notification. 

USAGE OF FORUMS, COMMENTS AND MEMBERSHIPS 

The website contains forums, memberships groups, and a Facebook group established by The Women’s Entrepreneurial Network to engage with other users of the site and the users of The Women’s Entrepreneurial Network Facebook group collectively or with the public at large, such as in the comments sections.  

These elements of The Women’s Entrepreneurial Network exist to share inspiration, support, empower and motivate its users and all users must agree to abide and adhere to the code of conduct required upon opting to use the Women’s Entrepreneurial Network website and in joining these groups.   

You may not post on any forum, or send to any other forum user or our staff, any material that is abusive, vulgar, threatening, harassing, libellous, defamatory, obscene, invades a person’s privacy, violates any intellectual or other property rights, or that would otherwise violate any law. You may not use any forum in a commercial manner. 

We are not responsible for screening material posted by users for libel, obscenity, invasion of privacy, copyright or trademark infringement, accuracy, or for any other reason. We retain, however, the right to modify or remove messages or other material that we, in our sole discretion, consider infringing, offensive, abusive, defamatory, obscene, stale, or otherwise unacceptable. We also reserve the right to edit materials for any other reason. Whether or not we modify or remove such material, users remain solely responsible for the content of their messages or postings. By posting on the Sites, you grant (or warrant that the owner of such rights has expressly granted) us and/or relevant affiliated companies the worldwide, perpetual, nonexclusive right to use your questions, comments, and postings, in their original or edited form, in television programs, books, articles, commentaries, or in any other medium now known or later developed. The Women’s Entrepreneurial Network reserves the right to refuse group memberships application paid and unpaid, admittance to our events without explanation and will not be held liable to do so. 

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY 

Under no circumstances, including but not limited to negligence, will we, our affiliates, or any of our licensors or suppliers, be liable for any special or consequential damages that result from the use of, or the inability to use, the materials or information on the Sites, or any products or services provided pursuant to the Sites, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Applicable law may not allow the limitation or exclusion of liability, or incidental or consequential damages (including but not limited to lost data), so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. In no event shall the total liability to you by us, or any of our licensors or suppliers, for all damages, losses, and causes of action (whether in contract, tort, or otherwise) exceed the amount paid by you to us, if any, for accessing the Sites. 

Under no circumstances will we be held responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any loss or damage that is caused or alleged to have been caused to you in connection with your use of any advice, goods or services you receive from a guest speaker on our Sites or at one of our events. 

We are also not responsible or liable for any loss or damage that is caused or alleged to have been caused, to our guest speakers in connection with the display of their photo, name, or biography posted on our Sites or in our marketing materials. 

NO PROFESSIONAL ADVICE 

The information contained in or made available through the Sites or through our affiliated Sites (including but not limited to information contained on message boards, in text files, or in chats) cannot replace or substitute for the services of trained professionals in any field, including, but not limited to, financial, medical, psychological, therapeutic, or legal matters. In particular, you should regularly consult a doctor in all matters relating to physical or mental health, particularly concerning any symptoms that may require diagnosis or medical attention. We and our licensors and suppliers make no representations or warranties concerning any treatment, action, or application of medication or preparation by any person following the information offered or provided within or through the Sites. Neither we or our affiliates, nor our partners or any of their affiliates, will be liable for any direct, indirect, consequential, special, exemplary or any other damages that may result, including but not limited to economic loss, injury, illness or death. You alone are responsible and accountable for your decisions, actions and results in life, and by your use of the Sites, you agree not to attempt to hold us liable for any such decisions, actions or results, at any time, under any circumstance. 

The Women’s Entrepreneurial Network are not accredited academic institutions and do not issue diplomas or academic certifications or degrees. We do not accept student loans or provide student aid under any programs. We are a for-profit training and research centre for personal and professional development. 

COURSES 

On opting to undertake any of the courses listed on the website the purchaser should take into consideration that all courses comes without educational qualifications and is purely for use in personal development, provide valuable knowledge and information which may aid in professional development but is not intended to be construed as legal, financial, tax, health or any other professional advice. 

The user must agree that the information contained within the site, and on the downloadable resources are for information purpose only and the Women’s Entrepreneurial Network, nor any of its information providers and authors do not take responsibility and is not accountable for the outcome the learning resources provides. The Purchaser is solely accountable and responsible for the end results usage and its competence as applicable in their own personal circumstance and performance. 

On purchasing one of the Women’s Entrepreneurial Network courses the purchaser must agree: 

 1) Not to try to resell, copy, illegally download, rent, broadcast, transfer or modify the course in any way. 

 2) That you are being granted a non-transferable license on purchasing by Women’s Entrepreneurial Network and/or its prospective owner/s to view and access the course and content contained within and that it is not owned by you. 

 3) That there is no guaranteed results. 

 4) That it is the solely for the purchaser personal usage only. 


DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL DATA  

We may have to share your personal data with the parties set out below: 

Service providers who provide IT and system administration services. 

Professional advisers including lawyers, bankers, auditors and insurers 

Government bodies that require us to report processing activities. 

Third parties to whom we sell, transfer, or merge parts of our business or our assets. 

We require all third parties to whom we transfer your data to respect the security of your personal data and to treat it in accordance with the law. We only allow such third parties to process your personal data for specified purposes and in accordance with our instructions. 

  

INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS   

We share your personal data within our group of companies which involves transferring your data outside the European Economic Area (EEA). 

Countries outside of the European Economic Area (EEA) do not always offer the same levels of protection to your personal data, so European law has prohibited transfers of personal data outside of the EEA unless the transfer meets certain criteria. 

Many of our third parties service providers are based outside the European Economic Area (EEA) so their processing of your personal data will involve a transfer of data outside the EEA. 

Whenever we transfer your personal data out of the EEA, we do our best to ensure a similar degree of security of data by ensuring at least one of the following safeguards is in place: 

We will only transfer your personal data to countries that the European Commission have approved as providing an adequate level of protection for personal data by; or 

Where we use certain service providers, we may use specific contracts or codes of conduct or certification mechanisms approved by the European Commission which give personal data the same protection it has in Europe; or 

If we use US-based providers that are part of EU-US Privacy Shield, we may transfer data to them, as they have equivalent safeguards in place. 

If none of the above safeguards is available, we may request your explicit consent to the specific transfer. You will have the right to withdraw this consent at any time.

Through the website from time to time, you may be able to link to other websites it is important to note, that these sites are not under the control of The Women’s Entrepreneurial Network. We have no control over the contents, products, materials (written and unwritten), suitability, graphics, reliability, availability, information and views which may or may not be expressed within them. We will not be responsible for any loss or damage which may result in the use of the linkage. It is your responsibility to ensure that these sites meet your requirements and to adhere to the conditions of use that may be contained within. 

DATA SECURITY 

We have put in place security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used, altered, disclosed, or accessed without authorisation. We also allow access to your personal data only to those employees and partners who have a business need to know such data. They will only process your personal data on our instructions and they must keep it confidential. 

We have procedures in place to deal with any suspected personal data breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator of a breach if we are legally required to. 

  

DATA RETENTION 

We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. 

When deciding what the correct time is to keep the data for we look at its amount, nature and sensitivity, potential risk of harm from unauthorised use or disclosure, the processing purposes, if these can be achieved by other means and legal requirements. 

For tax purposes, the law requires us to keep basic information about our customers (including Contact, Identity, Financial and Transaction Data) for six years after they stop being customers. 

In some circumstances, we may anonymise your personal data for research or statistical purposes in which case we may use this information indefinitely without further notice to you. 

YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS 

Under data protection laws you have rights in relation to your personal data that include the right to request access, correction, erasure, restriction, transfer, to object to processing, to portability of data and (where the lawful ground of processing is consent) to withdraw consent.

You will not have to pay a fee to access your personal data (or to exercise any of the other rights). However, we may charge a reasonable fee if your request is clearly unfounded, repetitive or excessive or refuse to comply with your request in these circumstances. 

We may need to request specific information from you to help us confirm your identity and ensure your right to access your personal data (or to exercise any of your other rights). This is a security measure to ensure that personal data is not disclosed to any person who has no right to receive it. We may also contact you to ask you for further information in relation to your request to speed up our response. 

We try to respond to all legitimate requests within one month. Occasionally it may take us longer than a month if your request is particularly complex or you have made a number of requests. In this case, we will notify you. 

If you are not happy with any aspect of how we collect and use your data, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK supervisory authority for data protection issues (www.ico.org.uk). We should be grateful if you would contact us first if you do have a complaint so that we can try to resolve it for you.

Cookies provide information regarding the computer used by a visitor. We may use cookies where appropriate to gather information about your computer in order to assist us in improving our website.

PAYMENT AND PAYMENT PLANS

Client understands the cost of The Women’s Entrepreneurial Network Business Club Membership is payable monthly, in the amount of thirty-three U.S. dollars ($47), or annually, in the amount of three hundred thirty-six U.S. dollars ($470) and charged automatically by month or year, in accordance with the Auto-Renewal Terms outlined below. If Client has joined The Women’s Entrepreneurial Network during a promotional period and has been promised a trial period that is less than the amount outlined above, Client understands that after such trial period, the monthly amount due and payable will be $47 per month, or $470 per year. Should Client fail to make timely payments, or if additional payments are not able to be processed, Client understands Client’s access to their membership may be restricted if payment is not made within 1 day of the date it is due. If payment is not made on the date it is due, The Women’s Entrepreneurial Network will continue to attempt to charge Client via the membership site software; if and when payment goes through, Client will again receive full access to the membership site. If payment is not collected, Client’s access will remain restricted, and Client will carry a balance on her account, showing the month(s) owed. Client must bring her account completely current in order to be granted access. If payment continues to be unsuccessful after sixty (60) days, Client membership shall be revoked and permanently cancelled. Should Client wish to rejoin The Women’s Entrepreneurial Network, after this period, she must do so at the current price membership is being offered. 

AUTO-RENEWAL AGREEMENT

Client understands and agrees that continued access to The Women’s Entrepreneurial Network requires recurring monthly payments of $47, or recurring annual payments of $470, that will be made by the Client on the day of the month or year on which they signed up. (For example, if the Client joins The Women's Entrepreneurial Network on the 5th of the month via monthly membership, they will continue to be charged on the 5th of every month thereafter.) If Client elects to be charged monthly: by purchasing access to The Women’s Entrepreneurial Network, and agreeing to these Terms of Use, Client understands she will be automatically charged each month, in the amount of $47 via the same card or manner in which the initial payment was made, for the following month of membership to The Women’s Entrepreneurial Network. This process will repeat each month unless and until the Client properly cancels his or her membership. If Client elects to be charged annually: by purchasing access to The Women’s Entrepreneurial Network and agreeing to these Terms of Use, Client understands she will be automatically charged each year, in the amount of $470 via the same card or manner in which the initial payment was made, for the following year of membership to The Women’s Entrepreneurial Network. This process will repeat each year unless and until the Client properly cancels her membership. 

CANCELLATION POLICY: 

If the Client wishes to cancel his or her membership, the Client must do so more than 48 hours before the charge is scheduled to withdraw. Any requests for cancellation made less than 48 hours before the automatic renewal is scheduled to charge the Client’s card, or made subsequent to the charge, will take effect the following month. 


HOW TO CANCEL: In order to cancel a membership, the Client must send an e-mail to hello@thewomensentrepreneurialnetwork.com with the subject line MEMBERSHIP CANCELLATION, including the Client’s name, email address, and confirmation of request to terminate his or her membership along with the reason for cancelling. The client will be notified upon receipt of email, and her membership will subsequently be cancelled prior to the following billing period, assuming it is more than 48 hours away. As outlined above, if Client cancels her membership less than 48 hours before the automatic renewal is scheduled to charge the Client’s card, the Client acknowledges and agrees he or she will be charged for the next month, and the cancellation will take effect following this. 


If the Client purchased access to The Women’s Entrepreneurial Network during a period in which a free month(s), or trial period was granted, Client understands she will be automatically charged the full monthly amount of $47 following the end of the trial period. The client will not be given any additional notice regarding the end of the trial period, By checking the box on the purchase page confirming your agreement to these Terms, you also confirm you are given your unequivocal, clear, affirmative consent to your agreement with these automatic renewal terms, the cancellation policy, and that you understand how to cancel before your card is charged for the following month. 

REFUND POLICY

The Women’s Entrepreneurial Network is not able to offer refunds once the Client has purchased access to The Women’s Entrepreneurial Network  Membership for any reason, including inability to obtain access to the site. If the Client is dissatisfied with his or her membership or otherwise unable to view it in its entirety, he or she may reach out to customer service at hello@thewomensentrepreneurialnetwork.com or may elect to Cancel via the CANCELATION POLICY outlined above, and will not be charged for subsequent months. The client further agrees and understands that changing her mind about The Women’s Entrepreneurial Network VIP Membership, failing to follow through or understand the details of The Women’s Entrepreneurial Network, not experiencing the results she expected or desired, or experiencing any other similar situations does not entitle her to a refund. 

DISCLAIMER 

By choosing to access this site you are agreeing to accept the Terms And Conditions, Disclaimer contained within this section and that you are age 18 (eighteen) and above. If you are not in agreement, and not over the legal age, please do not use this site.
